Simply, a company that strives for efficiency and value. Unicorn Carpets is a young Moldovan-Belgian joint venture that presented its products for the first time on the textile market in May 2020. We are a dynamic group of motivated and, most of all, passionate people whose ambition is to produce and deliver carpets with great service. Unicorn Carpets is a company that is Motivated & Competitive, and these are the companies core competencies.

Unicorn Carpets is a new Moldavian brand created by a group of individuals who have a similar passion and experience in the production of carpets and the synthetic threading, from which the carpets are made, for over more than 30 years.
The company located its production facilities on the territory of the free economic zone from Ungheni town, becoming the first fully vertically integrated synthetic carpet manufacturer in Moldova. Resulting in an efficient supply chain for raw materials, which allows our Unicorn carpets to respond promptly to changing market needs, and fashion trends in this specific industry. Being the first vertically integrated carpet producer in Moldova creates a lot of opportunities but most importantly it creates quality carpets that are affordable.
The long-term development strategy of the company is the expansion of the production capacity, which is currently 720.000 square meters per year to 1.5 million square meters per year over the next two years.
Presently, the companies "Unicorn Carpets" & "Euro Yarns" benefit from 50 employees who are true professionals in their field and are a vital part of our production. The group of designers, with whom the company collaborates pleasantly, surprises the company's customers with original carpet collections, distinguished by their delicate designs and beauty.

Unicorn carpets is part from a group of companies which includes "Euro Yarns", the company responsible for the production of our own yarns.
By this means, we try to be as vertically integrated as possible, were we start with the extrusion of yarns, the twisting and finally the thermofixation of the yarns. These yarns make our basis of our carpets. Being part of a group with our own yarn supplier, clients will have the opportunity to benefit from great price-quality carpets.

OUR STORY
Though our story has just begun, the background of the founders on the textile market is vast and dates back in 1988 when Dominique Bruyneel started “Target Carpets” in Belgium. Twenty years later, together with his partner Filip Dewaele they decide to expand their project and create a new factory in Moldova: “Euro Yarns Moldova”, producer of synthetic yarns. After only eight years of yarn production, the same team but enlarged with two Moldavian partners Petru Babenco and Andrei Turcan combined their experience and knowledge which resulted in launching their second green field project called "Unicorn Carpets". In 2020, the first carpets started to be woven and the best is yet to come…
